La crisis energética

El avance vertiginoso de la tecnología ha disparado la demanda energética global. Dispositivos móviles, vehículos eléctricos, plataformas digitales, inteligencia artificial y la infraestructura que los sostiene consumen cada vez más energía.
Este crecimiento ha llevado a tensiones que ya no pueden resolverse sólo desde una visión nacional; es urgente regionalizar soluciones mediante fuentes limpias como la solar y la eólica.
Quintana Roo, con una población flotante de alrededor de 35 millones de personas al año sumando residentes y visitantes demanda más de 1,200 megavatios diarios.
Esta necesidad representa una oportunidad estratégica para atraer inversión en industrias generadoras de energía y en la fabricación local de equipos como torres eólicas o sistemas fotovoltaicos.
No solo cubriríamos nuestras propias necesidades: podríamos abastecer a los otros estados de la península y exportar energía a Centroamérica y el Caribe, regiones con carencias similares.
Apostar por este sector no solo es estratégico: es indispensable para diversificar nuestra economía, generar empleos e insertarnos en la cadena de valor energética del futuro.

The Energy Crisis
The rapid advancement of technology has driven up global energy demand. Mobile devices, electric vehicles, digital platforms, artificial intelligence, and the infrastructure that supports them are consuming more and more energy.
This growth has led to tensions that can no longer be resolved solely from a national perspective; it is urgent to regionalize solutions through clean sources such as solar and wind power.
Quintana Roo, with a floating population of around 35 million people per year including residents and visitors demands over 1,200 megawatts daily.
This need represents a strategic opportunity to attract investment in energy-generating industries and in the local manufacturing of equipment such as wind towers or photovoltaic systems.
Not only would we meet our own needs: we could supply the other states on the peninsula and export energy to Central America and the Caribbean, regions with similar deficiencies.
Investing in this sector is not only strategic: it is essential to diversify our economy, create jobs, and position ourselves in the future energy value chain.
