Hablar de inseguridad forma parte ya de nuestro día a día. En el país existe una crisis en esta materia y no hay un estado de la república que logre estar exento. Nuestros gobernantes no logran encontrar la estrategia correcta y la corrupción se encuentra en todos los niveles. El asistensialismo está provocando generaciones de mediocridad y conformismo, ya que se les enseña a tener sin esfuerzo y que delinquir se convierte en una filosofía de vida. Avergüenza que podamos reconocer que existe una delincuencia organizada, mientras que la palabra “seguridad organizada” no existe, y eso es porque no existe.
Pero el hecho de que exista inseguridad en el país no significa que en Quintana Roo tenga que ser igual. Requerimos que nuestros próximos diputados locales se enfoquen en tipificar y perseguir de oficio cualquier tipo de delito con penas severas. Los diputados federales y senadores deben trabajar en solicitar que se replique un fondo metropolitano para nuestro estado de manera permanente, que en primera línea de salarios dignos a quienes se encargan de nuestra seguridad, que permita la tranquilidad de que sus familias tengan un futuro promisorio, capacitación, equipamiento, así como programas sociales para la integración de la familia a través de la cultura, deporte e invertir un fondo para viviendas dignas y de fácil acceso. También es necesario una mesa ciudadana promovida por nuestro ejecutivo que revise cada denuncia ante la fiscalía del estado y la de la república para garantizar que no exista corrupción. Claro que podemos lograrlo.

Talking about insecurity is already part of our daily lives. There is a crisis in this matter in the country and there is no state in the republic that manages to be exempt. Our leaders fail to find the right strategy and corruption is present at all levels. Welfare is causing generations of mediocrity and conformity, as they are taught to have without effort and that committing crimes becomes a philosophy of life. It is embarrassing that we can recognize the existence of organized crime, while the phrase “organized security” does not exist, and that is because it doesn’t exist.
But the fact that there is insecurity in the country does not mean that it has to be the same in Quintana Roo. We require that our next local deputies focus on classifying and prosecuting any type of crime with severe penalties. Federal deputies and senators must work to request the replication of a metropolitan fund for our state permanently, which prioritizes decent salaries for those in charge of our security, allowing the certainty that their families have a promising future, training, equipment, as well as social programs for family integration through culture, sports, and investing in a fund for decent and easily accessible housing. It is also necessary to have a citizen committee promoted by our executive branch to review every complaint before the state and federal prosecutor’s office to ensure that there is no corruption. Of course, we can achieve it.
