Migración, la gran preocupación

El colapso de las economías de los países desarrollados, así como estos nuevos bloques económicos y productivos emergentes, han afectado en sobremanera a los países en vía de desarrollo, atenuando las condiciones propias de dichos países y, por ende, generando temas de violencia y pobreza extrema que han provocado un fenómeno de migración sin precedentes en búsqueda de mejores oportunidades. Cada país desarrollado en el mundo normalmente tenía sus migrantes muy identificados; hoy, con esta necesidad de encontrar mejores oportunidades, ha cambiado tanto que podemos encontrar en nuestro país migrantes que provienen de Centroamérica, Sudamérica, que es lo convencional, pero ahora ya de las islas del Caribe, Europa del Este y África. Caravanas migrantes que crecen y crecen, que, además de que las vemos deambulando en las calles de nuestros diferentes estados, provocan el aumento de la inseguridad, pobreza, entre otros indicadores. Este fenómeno, que es mundial, es un riesgo para nuestra sociedad, economía y seguridad. No estamos trabajando en medidas que permitan resolver este problema, y no se trata de militarizar fronteras, sino de comenzar políticas que permitan segmentar a estos migrantes por vocación y/o por conocimiento y habilidades, fomentar la creación de industria y empresas que puedan ocupar a estos migrantes y, en lugar de ser una carga por temas relacionados a alimentación, salud, vivienda, se conviertan en generadores de economía. Si este fenómeno no se resuelve a nivel federal, requerimos que en nuestro estado trabajemos en iniciativas que pudieran ayudarnos a prever un problema futuro por esta situación, aprovechando que somos una fuente generadora de empleos que sigue en continuo crecimiento y que normalmente, de cada diez vacantes, nos falta cubrir con tres.

Migration, the great concern

The collapse of the economies of developed countries, as well as these new emerging economic and productive blocs, has greatly affected developing countries, attenuating the conditions of these countries and, therefore, generating issues of violence and extreme poverty that have caused an unprecedented migration phenomenon in search of better opportunities. Each developed country in the world normally had its migrants very well identified; today, with this need to find better opportunities, it has changed so much that we can find migrants in our country coming from Central America, South America, which is conventional, but now also from the Caribbean islands, Eastern Europe, and Africa. Migrant caravans that grow and grow, and, besides seeing them wandering the streets of our different states, they cause an increase in insecurity, poverty, among other indicators. This phenomenon, which is global, is a risk to our society, economy, and security. We are not working on measures to solve this problem, and it is not about militarizing borders, but about starting policies that allow to segment these migrants by vocation and/or by knowledge and skills, promoting the creation of industry and companies that can employ these migrants and, instead of being a burden due to issues related to food, health, housing, they become generators of economy. If this phenomenon is not resolved at the federal level, we need to work on initiatives in our state that could help us anticipate a future problem due to this situation, taking advantage of the fact that we are a job-generating source that continues to grow and that normally, out of every ten vacancies, we are missing three to fill.
